FREE Child Seat Clinic - National Child Passenger Safety Week
Did you know that 9 out of 10 car seats are incorrectly installed?
Did you know that 9 out of 10 car seats are incorrectly installed? And according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), most children need to ride in a car seat until they are at least 8 years old. At 8 years, most children are the appropriate height and weight (49 and more than 80 pounds) to safely ride in a seatbelt.
In honor of National Child Passenger Safety Week, February 12-18, Project 8, Safe Kids Sioux Falls Coalition and the Sioux Falls Law Enforcement Center are teaming up to help keep kids safe by providing a FREE Child Seat Clinic.

Project 8 is South Dakotas new goal to keep kids safe by making sure they are in the best child seat for their height and weight, until they are at least 8 years old.
