The Sanford Health Brookings Clinic also offers lactation assistance free of charge. Our services include:

New Arrivals Walk-in Breastfeeding Assistance
Walk-in every Monday between 1 and 4 p.m. to visit with other moms and get the lactation support you need. In a group setting, you’ll get the opportunity to:

  • Ask questions
  • Check your baby’s weight
  • Get help with feeding
  • Learn about breastfeeding and baby care

One-on-One Breastfeeding Assistance
Schedule an appointment with our lactation consultant to get help breastfeeding, ask questions and check your baby’s weight. Our consultant is available by appointment Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Call us for additional appointment times.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Preparation Class
Learn the basics of breastfeeding and be prepared for your baby. Join the class on the second Monday of every month from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Mammograms are the best screening technology to detect breast cancer early. Getting regular mammograms is an important step in protecting your breast health. A preventive screening is the best way to detect colorectal cancer early, before symptoms begin. Most colorectal cancer cases are treatable if detected early.

Get Ready for the Sports Season

You have options to get your child ready for middle school or high school sports: 

  • A sports physical includes a physical exam with a provider to ensure safe participation and completion of the sports physical form. The cost is $35 cash and not billable to insurance. 
  • A child wellness exam is billed to your insurance and includes a comprehensive evaluation, immunizations, family history review and sports physical requirements.
