Marcio Griebeler received his medical degree in 2004 in Brazil. He came to the United States in 2007 and started his medical residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami. He was invited to become Chief Medical Resident at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Miami. He moved to Rochester, MN and completed his fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Nutrition at Mayo Clinic.

Marcio Griebeler is married and has one child. His wife is also a physician and practices with the Sanford Pulmonary and Critical Care department. In his spare time Dr. Griebeler practices triathlon, reads about international business and economy, and has a special interest in enology, cuisine and cooking techniques.
