Manit Singla, MD joined the Hospital Medicine Department at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center in August. Dr. Singla received his medical degree from Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College in Solapur, Maharashtra, India. He completed an internship from the same university and continued his practice in internal medicine at Detroit Medical Center at Wayne State University, located in Detroit. Singla is originally from Punjab, India.

Dr. Singla grew up in India. He enjoys traveling and playing tennis and soccer. He is also a Detroit Red Wings and Tigers fan and is excited to add the Bemidji Beavers to that list. Every year he tries to visit a few National Parks and is an avid wildlife photographer.
