The cancer / disease is not the target; it is not the enemy to be defeated. I do not treat cancer/disease, I treat patients as unique individuals with their own values. I treat my patients as if they are one of my own family members.
In the last seven years at the University of Michigan, Dr. Alzoubi became an expert in evaluating and diagnosing a wide range of benign and malignant hematological conditions such as myeloma, lymphoma and leukemia. He has strong diagnostic skills in accessing abnormal blood counts and diagnosing rare hematological diseases such as PNH (Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria).
Dr. Alzoubi's research interest is in plasma cell disorders (multiple myeloma, AL amyloidosis and POEMS syndrome), and myeloproliferative disorders such as polycythemia Vera, Essential thrombocythemia, and myelofibrosis.
My passion for excellence and mental challenges were my initial drive to enroll in medical school. However, what has propelled me to excel in my medical profession is my patients' appreciation for the care they have received, and knowing that I can make a difference in my patients' lives and this families.
Dr. Alzoubi is married and has two children. In his spare time, he enjoy playing tennis and traveling.
