This 2 day AHA course addresses the core knowledge necessary to evaluate and manage an adult victim of a cardiovascular emergency or cardiac arrest.
The course teaches patient assessment, airway management, and electrical and drug therapy. The course is open to all medical and clinical staff needing advanced skill training. Basic ECG interpretation skills are required for this course.
In an interactive learning environment students will be engaged in video-based learning, pharmacology lecture and hands on skills practice.
After successful completion of mega-code skills demonstration and a written exam, students will receive an AHA completion card that is valid for a 2 year certification.
Online pretest included with registration confirmation email. Required text: ACLS Provider Manual (student responsibility).
