This class will assist you and your partner in understanding the breastfeeding process and the benefits to both Mom and baby. We recommend that you take this class between your 32nd and 34th week of pregnancy. This class is included as one of the sessions of the Birthing with Confidence: 7 week series.

This 1 hour class is designed for "brothers and sisters to be," ages 3 to 7 years to aid in adjusting to the addition of a new baby in the family. The class includes: characteristics and actions of a newborn, feeding the new baby, doll play, care of a newborn using demonstration and information about the Family Birth Center. One or both parents should accompany the child to class. Classes are subject to availability.
