Research

The Women’s Health Research Center focuses on the improving the lives of women by expanding our knowledge and treatment options for a variety of women’s health concerns. Current research projects have included studies in human papillomavirus (HPV), endometriosis, preeclampsia, fertility and urology.

The Women’s Health Research Center is under the direction of Keith Hanson, MD who serves as chair of Obstetrics/Gynecology for Sanford School of Medicine at The University of South Dakota.
