Research CancerWorld Class Research Shouldn’t Be a World Away…Fortunately, It Isn’t.

World class research is being conducted on the campus of Sanford today. Sanford partnered in 1998 with the University of South Dakota School of Medicine to form a non-profit research organization – Sanford Research/USD.

Sanford Research/USD supports a Cardiovascular Health Research Center, Signal Transduction Center, Disparities Research Center, Women's Research Center and the National Institute of Athletic Health and Performance, Children's Research Center and Cancer Biology Research Center.

"This is an exciting time for research because, thanks to Sanford, we have the technology available to ask questions we couldn’t think about asking before."

Benjamin Perryman, PhD., Vice President of Research for Sanford Health.
