Providing Positive Patient Outcomes

Linda Bartholomay, a Registered Dietician and Manager of the Diabetes Center and Outpatient Nutrition Therapy in Fargo, has worked in multiple areas throughout Sanford Health in her 23 years with the health system. An expert in her specialty of diabetes care, Bartholomay knows the importance of educating her team in the latest therapies.

Generous donors to the Sanford Health Foundation help provide departments throughout Sanford with educational, training and certification that otherwise may not be available. Gifts to the Diabetes Education Fund in Fargo allow Diabetes Center team members the opportunity to attend national and regional workshops and bring back knowledge of new therapies and technologies for the entire team.

The ability to attend workshops and training has been invaluable to the Diabetes Center team – because of the positive impact they have on patient outcomes.

“Without support from the Sanford Health Foundation, continuing education and more in-depth education for the Diabetes Center Team would not be possible,” Bartholomay said. “We greatly appreciate the support of our foundation donors!”

Gifts to a Sanford Health Foundation fund of your choice will provide education, training and programs to enhance the patient experience through staff knowledge and training.
