Making our communities stronger and healthier is at the core of everything we do at Sanford Health. As the nation’s premier rural health system, we’re committed to delivering world-class health care no matter where you live.

Our care extends beyond our medical centers and clinics. We’re active in the communities we serve and invest substantial resources to drive more opportunities and better health for all.

Identifying community needs

Every three years, Sanford Health conducts the Community Health Needs Assessment to learn more about the health and well-being of everyone we serve. The Community Health Needs Assessment allows us to identify significant unmet health needs and prioritize local partnerships and initiatives.

Your participation in the Community Health Needs Assessment helps improve care in your community. Please complete the survey when it opens in October 2023.

Every community is unique, so we consider local conditions for each funding request. We have established criteria to guide these decisions.

Charitable Donations, Sponsorships and Community Investments
Sanford Health regional offices review funding requests as they are received. Funding requests must meet criteria demonstrating an identified community health need. Initiatives that support community health priorities may take precedence.

Please note that Sanford Health can’t accept funding requests from:

• For-profit organizations
• Political campaigns and candidates
• Individuals requesting personal funding
