Tobacco Free Statement

As a leading healthcare provider, Sanford Health feels strongly that it is our responsibility to provide an environment which offers the opportunity and resources to optimize personal health and well-being for patients, employees and visitors. Given the numerous health issues involved with tobacco use, it is our intention to adopt a Tobacco Free Campus wide policy effective May 31, 2006.

This means that there will be no smoking or use of tobacco on any property owned or leased by Sanford Health. The new policy will include employees, physicians, contractors, vendors, visitors, and patients.
