Birth Place Virtual Tour
| As part of the Women’s Center of Excellence, The Birth Place has 27 family suites with all of the important amenities that make the birthing experience special. The Birth Place is located on the 5th floor of Medical Building 3, which is on the South side of the campus at Sanford USD Medical Center. For convenient parking, visiting family and friends may park in the MB3 parking lot or in the South Parking Ramp both located on 22nd Street. The Lobby of The Birth Place includes a children’s play area and modern security. All new babies wear ankle security bracelets and patients must approve all visitors wanting to enter the facility. | This is the hallway entrance to four of the family suites. As you look down the hallway you will see the entrance to the Family Bistro, a family style kitchen, where breakfast and lunch are available for patients and family to enjoy at their convenience. | |

| You have to see the nursery to believe it! It is beautifully hand painted with a large moon, stars, clouds and a blue sky on the walls and on the ceiling. Conveniently located in the center of The Birth Place, the nursery is near all of the family suites and is available for babies when mom needs a little rest or for babies that need a little extra care. The nursery features the latest medical technology and offers personalized care for each baby. |
