Family Day Care NetworkSanford USD Medical Center's Family Day Care Network (FDCN), a Sponsoring Organization of the Child and Adult Care Food Program, provides management guidance and technical support to participating Child Care Providers. The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federally funded program to help Child Care Home Providers serve nutritious meals to children in their care. The CACFP helps to make children healthy and happy in home day cares by reimbursing participating child care providers for feeding healthy meals and by providing nutrition education and support to Child Care Providers.To be eligible to participate in the CACFP, you must be registered for child care with the South Dakota Department of Child Care Services and with a CACFP Sponsoring Organization. Sanford USD Medical Center's Family Day Care Network (FDCN), provides management guidance and technical support to participating Child Care Providers.
