Mike Miller's Shoot for the Cure

NBA standout and new Minnesota Timberwolves team member Mike Miller announced today a generous philanthropic campaign this season to help cure juvenile diabetes. Miller unveiled the Mike Miller Shoot for the Cure. For every successful three-point field goal scored during regular season, the Mike Miller Foundation will donate $100 to help find a cure for type 1 diabetes, also known as juvenile diabetes. Proceeds will be directed to the Sanford Project.

“Millions of children and adults suffer from type 1 diabetes, and this is an opportunity to make an impact in their lives. I’m confident with the focused research of the Sanford Project a cure can be found, “ commented Miller.

“Join me in this worthy cause by joining the
Mike Miller Shoot for the Cure Club
by pledging money for each three-pointer I make.”
"Together, we can make an impact and cure type 1 diabetes."
