In addition, a growing variety of industry sponsored and physician investigator drug and device trials are conducted through the Sanford Clinical Research Center.

A multi-million annual operating budget and a team of research coordinators and administrative staff support Sanford Research/USDs clinical research enterprise. Sanford Research/USD Clinic Research is under the leadership of V.R. Brandenburg, MD, Medical Director and Jim Slack, Director of Clinic Research Operations.
