I have established an educational system in this office which provides a packet of pertinent materials appropriate to the developmental stage for each well child visit. Parents often express appreciation for written guidance they can take home. For example, we have excellent pamphlets for 9 month check-ups which covers nutrition, starting table foods, choking and allergenic foods. One parent said she had this guide hanging on her refrigerator from the time when her last child was this age. Parents appreciate the support and guidance.
