Dennis J. Glatt, MD, FACS

Dennis Glatt, MD, FACS completed medical school Summa Cum Laude at the University of South Dakota in 1997. He completed residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas in 2002, receiving the Resident Award for academic excellence.

Dr. Glatt was trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery during residency to include bariatric surgery, hernia repair, colorectal surgery, gallbladder surgery and antireflux surgery. He currently performs a large amount of endoscopy, to include colonoscopy and esophagogastroduodenoscopy. He also performs surgery on thyroids, parathyroids and surgery for breast cancer. Dr. Glatt is currently the Assistant Director of Trauma for Sanford USD Medical Center and serves as an Assistant Professor at the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota in General Surgery.

Dr. Glatt's practice is based in Sioux Falls with outreach clinics in Canton, SD and Viborg, SD while also servicing the VA Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
