Compassion is needed to earn a patient’s trust and make a personal connection. At Sanford Health we honor our nurses who take the time to get to know each patient and their family as individuals. We applaud the men and women who do what it takes to meet each unique need of those we care for. As part of the Year of the Nurse at Sanford Health, we thank our nurses. This day. Every day.

Bev Twedt, RN, works with patients to help them improve their overall health and daily wellness. That requires personal connection and trust. She knows patients won't believe in her or what she's saying if there isn't a connection and compassion for who they are and what they're going through. Read Bev's story.
Liz Engum
When Liz Engum, RN, walks into a patient room, she immediately works to get to know each patient she has and what kind of nurse they need her to be. She makes connections in order to earn their trust. Then delivers personalized care based on their unique needs. Learn more about Liz.
Tiffany Heck
