Nursing History
Throughout the month of January, we pay tribute to the unique and noble calling to be a nurse. We honor the courage of those who paved the way for today’s nursing practice. And we applaud the courage of those who are creating a path? for future nurses. Meet three women who’ve dedicated their careers to patient care. Who’ve answered their calling here at Sanford Health. They are true examples of courage and of our legacy of care.

Bonnie Tschetter
Bonnie Tschetter is an ENT Clinic Nurse in Sioux Falls. She has been with us for 29 years. Bonnie was selected as a featured nurse because of the courage she demonstrates as she supports head and neck cancer patients. She recognizes nursing as a calling and values what she’s learned from the nurses who came before her. Read Bonnie’s story.
Laura Langemo
Laura Langemo is an OB ambulatory nurse in Fargo. She has witnessed change in family care over her 20 years of nursing. We lift up Laura and her accomplishments because of the courage she demonstrates daily and the legacy of care she continues to leave. Read Laura’s Story.
Clarice Babolian
Clarice Babolian is a surgical nurse in Fargo, something she’s done for over 39 years. She’s seen a lot of change over that time. Because Clarice honors the history of nursing, we are honoring her work. She promotes certifications among nurses and has advanced her own education over the years. Watch Clarice’s video below.
