The "Calling" of a Nurse
At Sanford Health we recognize nursing is a calling. It is not for everyone. We realize that calling comes in many different ways, but a passion to serve patients and our organization is strong. As part of the Year of the Nurse at Sanford Health we applaud the call to nursing and we thank those who've answered the call here within our family.
Meet three women who are passionate about nursing.

Michelle Corothers
Michelle Corothers, RN, is an outreach nurse and coordinator at Clear Lake Medical Center. She turned a personal tragedy into a positive experience for her patients and our organization. When he daughter was just days old she was brought to the NICU at Sanford Health. Michelle says the support she and her family felt during that time inspired her to give of herself. Read her Story.
Cathy Keogh
Cathy Keogh, RN, works for Home Health in the Fargo area. She cares for people when they're at their most vulnerable. She respects that and helps them through it. She recognizes the importance of helping patients stay in their homes as long as possible and enjoys building a relationship with them and their families. Read her Story.
Susan Anderson
Susan Anderson, NP, enjoys advanced practice nursing at Sanford Cass Lake Clinic. As a teenager she saw a nurse practitioner and decided she wanted to be there for patients and their families during the joys and sorrows of life. She says it's the calling that drives her. Watch her video below.
