Football Team Wins Concussion Test Technology from Minnesota Vikings
Concussion test technology is helping researchers understand the impact these brain injuries have on athletes. A high school football team in Sioux Falls, S.D., was one of eight schools to receive a concussion baseline-testing package from the Minnesota Vikings, Sanford Health and X2 Biosystems. Sanford is learning more about concussions, their effects and how to keep players of all ages safe. The Sioux Falls school was the grand-prize winner and had a chance to meet two members of the Vikings team. The NFL players talked to the student athletes about the importance of being safe out on the field.
