Anatomy of the Lungs and Respiratory System

The respiratory system includes the trachea (windpipe), two bronchi (one bronchus branching into each lung), the lungs, and the bronchioles (smaller airways in the lungs). The right lung has three lobes, and the left lung has two lobes.
