In our article on the nose, we talk about the amazing process that lets us smell all the smells that we smell. But who figured out how it works? Well, two U.S. scientists - Richard Axel and Linda B. Buck - did some very important research on this subject. And this month, they received a BIG, BIG, BIG award for their work - the Nobel Prize (say: no-bell prize).
