Say: so-shul wer-ker
A social worker is someone who helps people. He or she may be a trusted adult you can talk to about your feelings. Social workers also know a lot about groups in the community that offer support, including job training and services for people who have health problems. Social workers help adults find these groups so they can benefit from the services they offer.
