In the last seven years at the University of Michigan, Dr. Alzoubi became an expert in evaluating and diagnosing a wide range of benign and malignant hematological conditions such as myeloma, lymphoma and leukemia. He has strong diagnostic skills in accessing abnormal blood counts and diagnosing rare hematological diseases such as PNH (Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria).Dr. Alzoubi's research interest is in plasma cell disorders (multiple myeloma, AL amyloidosis and POEMS syndrome), and myeloproliferative disorders such as polycythemia Vera, Essential thrombocythemia, and myelofibrosis.
