Parenting Classes: Turn Off the Screen

DESCRIPTION:
Understanding the relationship between screen time (television, DVD's, computer games, video games) and the development of unhealthy lifestyles in children is important in encouraging children to develop habits today that positively impact their health as they grow into adulthood. How screen time allows marketers to influence our children's health habits is also discussed in this class. Design a plan to help your family work towards healthier daily habits.
