Trauma Nursing Core Course - TNCC Certification

Sanford Stevens Center :: Center for Learning & Innovation - 900 East 54th Street North :: Sioux Falls, SD
DESCRIPTION:
This two-day certification course is offered to nurses preferably with six month clinical nursing experience and/or experience in assessment and stabilization of emergency/trauma patients. It is designed to provide core-level trauma knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the trauma patient. Class size is limited.
This course curriculum meets Emergency Nurses Association standards. Evaluation on the second day includes the skills station and a written exam. Other healthcare providers may audit course, excluding the psychomotor skill stations.
Day 1: 8 am - 5:30 pm
Day 2: 8 am - 3:30 pm
Cost:
Sanford Health participants = $180
Outside participants = $195
A four year certification card is issued upon completion of course. Contact Hours are provided through the Emergency Nurses Association.
