Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS Provider

DESCRIPTION:
This two-day certification course is offered to all first time providers-physicians and other health care providers - who are responsible for intervening in the event of cardiac arrest and/or life threatening arrhythmia. This course curriculum meets American Heart Association standards. Emphasis is placed on application of knowledge using a case study approach and testing EKG interpretation. Class space is limited.
This ACLS Provider course does not teach algorithms or EKG interpretation. Books with CD may be purchased from one of the companies listed on the registration brochure. The precourse assessment test is found on the CD of the student's manual. Ordering information is provided on registration brochure.
Day 1: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Day 2: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Cost:
Sanford Health participants = $125
Outside participants = $175
A two year American Heart Association certification card is issued upon completion of course. Participants are responsible for their own book. CNE-Net and CME’s offered.
