Retrospective review of management of vascular infections with biologic grafts
Vascular infections typically include those of surgical sites, prosthetic grafts, and vascular ulcers. Each of these infections represents a serious health concern, particularly among individuals with comorbid conditions who are at an increased risk of morbidity and mortality. The objective of this study is a retrospective review to collect data on Sanford Clinic Vascular Associates patients that have had a vascular infection with biological graft procedure. An additional objective is to review this data for clinical purposes for tracking and monitoring care, as well as possible future research purposes.
