The Gift of Motherhood
Description:
Experienced labor and delivery nurses will provide information about what to expect during childbirth, in the classroom or online. Both options cover the following topics: Stages of labor and birth; Coaching mom through labor and delivery; Coping with contractions and use of relaxation techniques; Options for controlling pain during labor; Cesarean birth; What to expect once you get home.
It is recommended that you register for a childbirth education class approximately eight weeks before your due date.
Cost of the class is $10. Includes hospital tour and the Gift of Motherhood handbook.

- 1 class per week for three weeks
- 1 Saturday full-day class
