Your Decisions Matter: Advance Healthcare Directives

Please join us for a one hour session. Take time to learn more about advance healthcare directives and to get your questions answered. We will talk about medical interventions that are often used at the end of life. This can help you identify what you may or may not want for yourself in the event you are no longer able speak. You will leave the session prepared to write down specific instructions for your own end-of-life care.

Having a written plan can help insure you receive the kind of care you want. Making decisions ahead of time and putting your wishes in writing brings peace of mind to families. It helps to avoid the difficult situations that are so common when a person becomes seriously ill and the family is left to guess what their loved one would have wanted.
