Sanford Health introduces innovative, new procedures for our patients like the Armored Guide Catheter System (patent pending), a new stenting technique utilized by one of Sanford Clinic’s cardiologists. Sanford's team of specialists participate in various research studies to help our patients. For instance, two of our vascular physicians recently participated in a Carotid Stent Study which looked at the results of treating high risk surgical patients. Sanford Health had a zero major adverse event rate for their patients, while nationwide the major adverse event rate was 5%.
