The Sanford Children's Bone Clinic is a dedicated clinic for acute or urgent pediatric orthopedic problems. This unique program provides predictable same day access for children (age 15 and under) with acute or subacute fractures, limps, infections, or other urgent musculoskeletal problems.

A child's orthopedic problems are different than those of an adult. Because children are still growing, their body's response to injuries, infections and deformities may be quite different than what it would be in a full-grown person. Many of the problems children have with their bones and joints don't even occur in adults.
