Camp Jess
Camp Jess is a one day camp experience for children ages 6-14 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, grandparent or close friend. Through sharing, playing and being together with peers who have experienced the death of a loved one, children learn that the feelings they are experiencing are normal during their grieving process.

  • Provides an environment that promotes listening, sharing and venting about being diagnosed with cancer.
  • Fosters a sense of “I am not alone,” and complete acceptance
  • Encourages peer support and establishes new friendships
  • Lets kids have fun and be kids through crafts, artwork and games
Parents Pushing Forward
Having a child with cancer often leaves a parent with numerous feelings that only parents in a similar situation can begin to understand. The main goal and objective of this support group is to provide an opportunity to learn new information, listen and share personal experiences, provide and receive emotional support and offer hope for the future.

BoysBonding Buddies
  • Provides an atmosphere where siblings can share the feelings associated with having a brother or sister with cancer
  • Promotes sharing and listening of feelings Reassures normalization of various feelings
  • Encourages peer support and establishes new friendships
  • Lets kids have fun through crafts, artwork and game
ABC: After Breast Cancer Education Support Group
This information and support group is for women who are experiencing breast cancer.

Bosom Buddies
This is a warm water exercise program designed especially for breast cancer survivors. The class focuses on range-of-motion and flexibility exercises in warm water (93 to 94 degrees). For more information, contact Jan Viereck at 605-328-2891.

Look Good, Feel Better
Cancer can rob a woman of her energy, appetite and strength. But it doesn’t have to take away her self-confidence. This program teaches beauty techniques to women cancer patients in active treatment to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.

Silicone Breast Implant Education & Support Group
This support group offers ongoing education and support for women who may have concerns or questions about implants.

Cancer Connections – Educational Sessions
These educational sessions feature a variety of topics relating to cancer.

Cancer Kickers Support Group
These support groups are designed to help patients and families cope with daily issues surrounding their cancer diagnosis.
