Gloria Top

Originally from Edgerton, MN, Gloria Top graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1986. For two years she worked as a surgical RN for the Sioux Falls Surgical Center before joining Sanford as a surgical RN in the Same Day Surgery Department. In 2001 she was recruited to join Vance Thompson Vision as an ophthalmic surgical RN and surgery coordinator in their Laser and Implant Vision Correction Surgery Center. During that time Gloria studied and embraced customer service and patient experience standards. She believes these standards to be vital for our individual health and well-being. Never was her resolve for higher standards in the patient experience more solidified than when she personally endured the fear and hope associated with her struggle with cancer.

She joined Sanford Cancer Center Oncology Clinic as a breast oncology care coordinator in 2008.

Gloria lives in Sioux Falls with her husband Brian and has three daughters, Jessica, Kristin, and Kaitlin.
