Support for Sanford Children’s

The new Sanford Children’s Hospital—this region’s Castle of Care—opened on March 11, 2009 to treat sick and injured children. Making this dream a reality involved the generous financial support of thousands of donors, who followed the lead of Mr. Denny Sanford’s $16 million gift in 2004.

Now that this unique facility is open, charitable support is more important than ever. Providing the children of our region with access to the very best healthcare, close to home, requires highly-trained physicians and medical staff, cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art programming and services. Ensuring all of these are available, for generations to come, requires the financial support of our communities.

Those still wishing to make a permanent impact on the region’s children can do so through the Sanford Children’s Transformation Campaign. With a goal of $100 million, this effort will ensure permanent support for Sanford Children’s Hospital, its programming, research and services.
