Casting for Kids

The 6th Annual Sanford Walleye Classic "Casting for Kids" was held June 20, 2009 and raised OVER $10,000 for Children's Miracle Network!

On June 20, 2009, the Sanford Maintenance and Construction Services Department "reeled" in a record 83 teams for its 6th Annual Walleye Classic at Cedar Shore Resort in scenic Chamberlain. The department "netted" over $10,000 for Children's Miracle Network at Sanford Children's Hospital.

Funds raised at events like the Walleye Classic make a difference for miracle kids and their families from our region, by providing meals, mileage and lodging through our Direct Child and Family Assistance program. CMN funds also purchase life-saving equipment, are used to enhance programs and services that support the kids receiving their care at Sanford Children's Hospital.
